My youngest is currently really into coloring. It just makes him happy. Mostly he colors on our table (thank goodness for Magic Erasers) but sometimes he’ll actually color a picture or a piece of paper. I designed these Easter coloring pages so that both of my boys would have something to color and leave our table and walls alone. These would work well for any non-religious Easter event or even just for some fun Easter activities to do at home! They’re all pretty simple designs so they’d work better if you’re looking for some less difficult coloring but still detailed enough that they’d work for elementary school and middle school kids as well! Bring them to church on Easter Sunday, color them in your Sunday school glass, color them in an actual school class – totally up to you how you use them. I’m just here to give out the freebies!
Easter Coloring Page Designs
The free printable set comes with ten different Easter coloring pages. I made all of the designs non-religious designs just so that they could be used everywhere – school, church, and more. There are a number of designs that feature Easter baskets and Easter eggs since those are really fun to add patterns and colors to! And Easter baskets, especially DIY Encanto Easter baskets, are cute! You can color these with whatever art supplies you want – crayons, colored pencils, markers. I don’t recommend painting them because they have pretty fine lines in places but maybe you could try painting one of the more simple designs if you want! Print out a bunch of copies of each of the designs and let kids (or adults) choose which one they want to color. Or let them choose multiples – it’s just paper! These coloring pages would be a great activity to do at an Easter celebration along with some of these Easter games, this Easter bingo, and maybe even this Easter scavenger hunt if it’s a small group! Or put out a table of these Easter coloring pages for people to color while they’re waiting for their turn in the Easter egg hunt!
Expert Tips
Print out a bunch of each design if you’re going to be handing them out to multiple people. Not only will that save you from people fighting because so and so got the Easter bunny coloring page and they didn’t, but it’ll also allow people the chance to color multiple pages if they choose! Provide coloring pages and a variety of coloring materials – markers, crayons, and colored pencils are all a good choice! Some people (like me) like to color with markers while others prefer the smooth coloring of colored pencils instead. Setup a coloring station with these coloring pages as just an added activity at any Easter celebration. You’ll be surprised how many people will sit down and color a picture even if it’s not an organized activity.
